Resurrection Celebration Confessional~ 4.12.2009
“Do you believe this?”… A question still being asked after 2000+ years. Jesus went to the cross, died there, was buried and rose from the dead, proving His claim to be “the resurrection and the life.”
I’ve heard many testimonies over the past few hours since our Easter Service yesterday. The reports have been trickling in, here and there, from blogs and other media, thousands have surrendered their lives to Christ, believing in the resurrection. I’m still celebrating those who gave their lives to Him at our service. He Lives!
Sunday Set-List 4.12.2009
We practiced several weeks. Our team consisted of 14 people. 5 acoustic guitars, 1 keyboard, a percussionist and 10 vocalists. It was soooo awesome to work with such a great group of people most of which were singing/ playing with us for the first time, many were inexperienced musicians. We had a great time learning the songs and techniques together. A real “from rags to riches” kind of transformation.
Someone once said of our worship events, “the music is complicated and way out of our reach but every year God makes it happen.” YES! God truly made it happen and it was inspiring, heart touching, tear jerking and joyous! I’m privileged to have been a part of it. Thank YOU JESUS
