Cosima Ybarra and her husband Pastor Bob Ybarra have two daughters and have lived in the Riverside County area since 1978. They accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in the winter of 1979 and first attended Calvary Chapel Riverside, now known as Harvest Christian Fellowship.

In 1985 the Ybarra family moved to Moreno Valley and began attending Calvary Chapel Moreno Valley until 1990. As Bob’s involvement in ministry grew so did Cosima’s – teaching Bible studies and leading worship in small groups and at mid-week services.

From 1986 through 1991 Cosima had opportunity to sing with various worship leaders at church services, bible studies and worship conferences in California and Japan.

In 1991 Pastor Bob and his family were sent as missionaries to Japan. Following their return to the United States, Pastor Bob became the Missions Director at Calvary Chapel Moreno Valley until November of 1996 when the Lord opened the way and called them to serve at Calvary Chapel Perris Valley.

In December of 2005 Cosima’s debut CD, Surrendered was released. She had the privilege of working with some of the most gifted and talented musicians in the music world today.

Her passion for knowing God through His names has fueled a desire to teach others to meet their God through intimate study and meditation on His attributes, character and His names. Currently, Cosima serves as worship leader at Calvary Chapel Perris Valley and as a guest speaker and worship leader for special services and women’s events!
